Desert Mountain

Desert Mountain is a world-class golf and recreational community, set in the spectacular High Sonoran Desert of north Scottsdale, in the wondrous state of Arizona. If you want a luxury residential experience, wrapped up in one of the finest recreational communities in the country, you will have a difficult time finding a better place than Desert Mountain.

At the heart of the community is The Desert Mountain Club, a private club that began with a single golf course, a casual restaurant, and a practice range. It quickly expanded with the addition of the Geronimo and Cochise courses, accompanied by a 52,000-square-foot clubhouse. Today, the Club boasts seven courses, including six full-length championship Jack Nicklaus Signature designs, alongside world-class amenities.

To maintain its status as one of the region’s premier clubs, Desert Mountain has invested in continuous improvements. Notable enhancements include the creation of Seven, an innovative par-54 course, and a $12 million renovation of the Sonoran Clubhouse, which features a swim, tennis, fitness, and spa facility. Members enjoy ten diverse dining venues, pickleball and bocce courts, golf croquet, an expanded children's playground, and a beloved dog park that is set to be relocated and expanded. The community also offers over 20 miles of scenic hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails in the surrounding mountains, funded and maintained as a community asset by property owners. Additionally, the Club recently introduced the Jim Flick Golf Performance Center, a state-of-the-art training facility named after the legendary golf instructor.

Desert Mountain is more than a golf community—it’s a world-class lifestyle destination. With residents from across the United States and beyond, it has earned a reputation as one of the finest examples of golf course community development. For those seeking an exceptional luxury residential experience immersed in outdoor adventure, few places compare to Desert Mountain.

The community is in a quiet, peaceful setting; the air is clean, the skies dark at night and the climate very comfortable most of the year (with a high about ten degrees cooler than what Phoenix reports, but nighttime lows in the summer approaching twenty degrees cooler than what the city will record). One can normally drive to Sky Harbor Airport from the Front Gate in under forty-five minutes, and the nearest grocery store is just six minutes away. Our Group members know many other residents and Club members and enjoy introducing our new clients to these people via our “Inside Circle” program, helping them get plugged in quickly. It is a friendly place, with people from all over the country and all kinds of backgrounds. You are bound to be able to find some people quickly with whom you will become fast friends, and all of us look forward to helping in that process!
